The celebrated inventor of the telegraph, radio, wireless…

Scarce Original Antique Victorian ‘bronze’ type 13″ Spelter Figurines / Statues / Statuettes

LE TÉLÉPHONE et LE TÉLÉGRAPHE

Dating from the latter part of the 19th Century or early 20th Century, these most attractive (likely French) and decorative figurines confidently promote two of the greatest ever technocological wonder inventions by Alexander Graham Bell and Guglielmo Marconi.

Art Nouveau?

Generally good and complete condition throughout. The original finish has some wear, but there are no breaks, cracks or splits whatsoever to the figurines themselves. The turned-wooden plinths boast their orginal finish (‘Le Téléphone’ has a tight split, whilst a small patch on the plinth of ‘Le Télégraphe’ appears to have been used for ‘carpentry’).  There does not appear to be anything missing.

Guaranteed as genuine ‘must-have’ wireless telephone and telegraph collectables.

Manufactured in three sizes, these are the smallest variants at 13.5″ (34cm)
